In 1964, Antonio Carlos Camargo began his journey at Alsco as Manager of the Santo Amaro branch. Years later, he took on the role of CEO of the company in Brazil, a position he held with great dedication and vision until 1998. 💚
During his tenure, he led a period of significant expansion, opening branches in Vila Maria, Arujá, acquiring the Confecção building, as well as in Belo Horizonte and Recife, in addition to the growth of the Canoas (RS) unit. He was also responsible for advancements such as the new uniform fabric, the development of products like the Mop and Cleanroom uniforms, and the modernization of operations.
Antonio Carlos also led the digitization of financial processes, making the Brazil branch the first to send reports to the United States via the internet.
His legacy lives on in the company’s culture, characterized by innovation, strategic vision, and, above all, a deep appreciation for human relationships in the workplace.
Alsco sincerely thanks him for so many years of contributions to our story. 💚
